Joe Cocker passed away from lung cancer at 70.
The British singer was suffering from lung cancer and passed away this afternoon. His representative confirmed Barrie Marshall.
Joe Cocker died at age 70 after battling a severe lung cancer . So his manager Barrie Marshall, through a statement. "I was just unique, it will be impossible to fill the space left in our hearts," said the BBC.
" He died on December 22, 2014 after a long battle with lung cancer. He was 70 years old. In 2007 he was awarded by the Queen of England. He managed the international success as a singer of blues / rock, "says another letter sent by Sony.
Cocker was born in Sheffield, England. He began his career- in the world of music at age 15. His first band was The Avengers, then participated in Big Blues (1963) and The Grease Band (1966).
He rose to fame shortly after, made different versions of songs by The Beatles. Then he went further, and even recorded more than 45 albums. When you eat the night and You are so beautiful were some of his hits. In 1969, he attended the legendary Woodstock festival. For his subject Up Where We Belong won a Grammy in 1983.
