The holiday season has arrived and the young guns of Bollywood who work hard throughout the year are going on a much-deserved break. Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were pictured leaving for the US together to celebrate the New Year. Karan Johar and Ayan Mukherjee were supposed to join them but decided to come to Dubai  at the last minute. Karan loves the nightlife that Dubai offers especially Music Hall at Zabeel Saray. Shilpa Shetty is also in Dubai with her family whereas Nargis Fakhri and Uday Chopra are reportedly going to Maldives to bring in the New Year.

Final Countdown

We told you that Deepika Padukone has almost been signed opposite Salman Khan for Sooraj Barjataya’s Bade Bhaiyya. Later on rumours surfaced that Nargis Fakhri might be doing the movie. But when we asked Nargis about this during her recent visit to Dubai, she said, “I heard the same also but I have no idea what everyone is talking about. Can anyone please call Salman Khan and tell him that? That would be good!” Our sources still insist that dates are being worked out between Deepika and Salman considering both of them have extremely busy schedules. There is also news that Salman Khan might make an appearance in a special song in Shah Rukh and Deepika’s Happy New Year. We do not know whether Salman will give a nod to the project, but we have observed that both SRK and Salman are mature individuals who respect each other despite their differences. Maybe they will set a good example of forgiving and forgetting by coming together.

Katrina Kaif is working on three movies right now and her calendar is packed. Come January she will leave for Kashmir to shoot for Kabir Khan’s Phantom with Saif Ali Khan. In the same month she is also required to be in Prague to shoot for Bang Bang with Hrithik Roshan. Wait, the saga has not ended. She is also shooting for Anurag Basu’s Jagga Jaasoos with Ranbir Kapoor. She has three releases in 2014. But the lady knows her priority, vacation time with boyfriend Ranbir. After all, all work and no play makes Kat a dull girl.

Abhi-Ash Stay mum
Producer Gaurang Doshi and director Prahlad Kakkar announced to the media that Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan would be working in their forthcoming movie Happy Anniversary. This, we gather, upset the Bachchans so much they told Prahlad clearly if he did not stop talking to the press then they might just walk out of the project. Prahlad who is waiting with bated breath to mark his debut as a director has asked excited producer Gaurang to put a stop to his PR machinery while the Bachchan duo take their time to decide whether they will work in this movie or not.
